Symptoms to look for are rash or redness on the tip of the penis, accompanied by itching and sometimes a burning sensation during sex, or during urination. The methods used to treat male genital infection with candida are actually similar to the treatments available for women, known as antifungal ointment, such as Monistat. Apply the ointment directly the tip of the penis for a period of seven days, as recommended on the package.
